Terms of Sale
Effective August 30, 2026
These Terms of Sale govern purchases of the Cloudflare Workers Production Kit from Sean Behan, operating as codebam (“codebam”). By submitting an order, you agree to these terms, the Refund Policy, and the Product License. If you purchase for an organization, you confirm that you can bind it to these terms.
Product and price
The product is a downloadable source-code kit, documentation, example application, and related materials. The advertised base price is $59 CAD for a one-time purchase. Stripe Checkout displays the final currency, applicable taxes, and total before you pay. The Checkout total controls if it differs from a converted or estimated amount displayed elsewhere.
You must provide accurate Checkout and contact information and be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
Merchant of record and payment
Stripe, or the Stripe affiliate identified in Checkout and on your receipt, acts as merchant of record when Stripe Managed Payments covers the transaction. Stripe processes payment, currency conversion, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, fraud review, disputes, and approved refunds under its purchaser terms. codebam never receives your full payment-card details.
codebam remains the product provider, copyright owner, and licensor. If Checkout does not identify Stripe as merchant of record, do not complete the purchase and contact codebam.
Delivery and access
After Stripe confirms payment, the confirmation page provides a private download link and a second link is sent to the Checkout email address. You are responsible for providing a working email address and keeping the link and downloaded files secure.
Access depends on a valid paid transaction for the correct product and release. A refund, partial refund, dispute, reversal, or material license breach can end access. Contact codebam if delivery fails rather than sharing payment or card details by email.
License
Purchase grants only the rights stated in the Product License. The kit is licensed, not sold, and codebam retains ownership of the kit and documentation. Third-party packages remain under their own licenses.
One purchase covers the named purchaser and authorized employees or contractors working on that purchaser’s applications. It does not permit public distribution, sublicensing, resale, a competing starter-kit product, or reuse by a client outside the privately delivered application.
Updates and support
Purchase includes releases published during the first year after purchase. The purchaser keeps access to the originally purchased release and eligible updates, subject to the Product License and payment remaining valid.
The purchase does not include custom implementation, deployment, incident response, consulting, or guaranteed response times unless separately agreed in writing.
Refunds
Refund eligibility and procedure are described in the Refund Policy. An approved refund ends the associated license and download entitlement, except where applicable law requires a different result.
Product responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing and testing the kit, adapting configuration and sample code, protecting secrets, maintaining backups, monitoring deployments, and confirming that your use complies with applicable law and third-party terms. The kit is a technical starting point, not legal, tax, security, or compliance advice.
Warranty and liability
The kit is provided “as is” without warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.
To the extent permitted by law, codebam’s total liability arising from the product or these terms is limited to the amount paid for the product. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow parties to exclude.
Changes to these terms
The version in effect when you purchase governs that purchase. Updated terms may apply to future purchases but will not retroactively reduce rights already granted unless applicable law requires the change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, except that mandatory consumer protections or forum rights where you live continue to apply.
